BSN preferred.
Unit Details:
Procedures include screening colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EBUS, and navigational bronchoscopy.
Patient population is adult.
Equipment includes endoscopy scopes and towers, Blakemore tubes, and various endoscopy-specific disposables.
Shift & Scheduling:
Weekend coverage is call only.
Call is rotated fairly among 3-4 RNs.
Floating Requirements:
May be required to float to the sister unit, One-Day Surgery.
