Travel Nurse (RN) - Intermediate Care Unit

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Ventilator/Trach experience required.
• At least 1 prior travel experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• ICU experience preferred.

Required Credentials:

• Associate degree or certificate.

Unit Details:

• Heavy Tele.
• Stable, weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Shift options: 7a-730p / 700p-730a.
• Every other weekend. Every other holiday.
• May be low censused in hour increments as needed; the unit typically low censes in 4-hour increments and may ask travelers to work only 4 or 8 hours of a shift.
• Hours may vary during orientation week and during holidays when the unit is closed.

Floating Requirements:

• Float to all inpatient units at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, as needed. Typically will float to higher acuity units.
