Additional Details:

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

Required Skills/Experience: Abdominal pain, Asthma, Hyperglycemia, Identify/Report neglect or abuse, Respiratory infection, Urinary Tract Infection, Acute psychosis, Drug overdose, Managing violent behavior, Psychiatric Hold, Suicidal patient, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Phlebotomy, Starting and maintaining IVs, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, Chest tube insertion/management, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Intubation, Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, IV vasopressors, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi, Gunshot wounds, Traumatic amputation, Interpretation/Management of dysrhythmias, Multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Triage, Manage / apply splints.

  • Preferred Skills: Burns, Epiglottitis, Head injury, Infection, Mental/behavioral health conditions, Near drowning, Poison ingestion, Seizures, Sickle cell crisis, Skin Disorders, Spinal cord injury, Arterial line management, Care of Ventilated Patient, Continuous IV paralytics, ICP monitoring, Neuro-Trauma, Traumatic Brain injury, Pediatric Emergency Department, STEMI Certified Facility, Stroke Certified Facility, Ortho trauma.

Required Credentials: If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only).

Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission.

Shift & Scheduling: Rotating Weekends

Other Requirements:

  • References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years
  • You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Details:

AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
