Required Skills/Experience:
- LTC or rehab experience required.
Unit Details:
- Provides rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders under the supervision and direction of an Occupational Therapist.
- Administers procedures including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive and assistive devices.
- Provides consultation to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to cognitive and/or physical disorders.
- Provides input for discharge summaries and works with the supervising Occupational Therapist to obtain necessary DME or supplies and support students.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Mon-Fri.
- Times are flexible as long as they are consistent and communicated with the DOR.
- Therapist start time is before 6AM and no later than 10AM.
- No weekends.
- No call.
