Travel Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience:

• High-level PCU or ICU RN experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details:

• Newly opened PCU; ICU patients are anticipated.
• Universal suite; each room can function as a telemetry, PCU, or critical care bed based on the diagnosis and accommodation code.
• Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population.
• Patient population includes Afib RVR, TAVR, post PCI, DKA, COPD/asthma exacerbations, stable vents, high FiO2 requirements, HF management, and renal failure.
• MS/Tele ratios 6:1; Critical Care 2:1.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements:

• Will care for MS/Tele, PCU, and/or critical care patients, with floating to these areas if low census; low-census floating may include CC (1:2-3 patients) or Med-Surg/Tele (1:5-6 patients).
