Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: First-time travelers not accepted. Triage, circulate, and telemetry experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Experienced LDRP nurse preferred. Nursery experience preferred.
Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
Preferred Credentials: AWHONN Advanced also acceptable.
Special Requests: Indiana residents are considered local. IU Health will not allow Indiana RNs to work at their facilities. Exceptions include Periop/OR RNs, allied, and ambulatory RN travelers. Periop includes Endo, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, and SDS.
Unit Details: 1:2 couplets. Neonates, adults, and pediatrics patient population. Level 1 nursery and Level 1 OB/delivery. Procedures include circumcision, external version, and C-section. Uses Panda warmers with built-in Neo-puff, Philips fetal monitoring with wireless capability, and an OB hemorrhage cart.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. 10 weekend shifts per contract.
