Additional Details:
Required Credentials: Area-specific competency exam required. Minimum 3.2 overall rating on skills checklist required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Observation Unit experience preferred. Charge nurse experience preferred. Nephrology experience preferred. 2 years of experience preferred.
Unit Details: Nephrology unit is an extension of the Med/Surg units. Patient population is geriatric and adult. Common diagnoses/treatments include ESRD, peritoneal dialysis, and hemodialysis. Uses VS machine, bladder scanner, lifts, thermal imaging, and IV pumps/tubes.
Shift & Scheduling: At least 2 weekend shifts per month. No call.
Floating Requirements: Float as needed per facility needs.
