Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: SVD (no VBAC), cesarean section, OB triage, nonstress test, postpartum, nursery, care of newborn and procedures, management of hemorrhages, fetal monitoring and interventions, management of pre-eclampsia/eclampsia/hypertensive crisis patients.

Required Credentials: Intermediate or advanced fetal heart monitoring.

Preferred Credentials: BSN preferred.

Unit Details: LDRP unit providing labor and delivery, recovery, triage, postpartum, and nursery care, including postpartum couplet care and a level 1 nursery. Common diagnoses/treatments: antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, pre-eclampsia, cesarean section, inductions, neonatal hyperbilirubinemia. Patient population: adults and newborns. Uses Omnicell medication dispenser, Baxter pumps, and Masimo monitors.

Shift & Scheduling: No call.

Floating Requirements: Potential to float to other departments depending on patient census and department needs.
