Travel Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Required Skills/Experience:
Must have experience in all 3 areas: Pre-op, OR/Circulator, and PACU. The RN must be able to function in all three areas.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
3 Years Pre-op/OR/PACU experience preferred.
Scrub experience preferred.

Unit Details:
Surgical cases include General and OB/GYN procedures, with Ophth (cataract surgery) and Orthopedics surgeries once to twice a month.
The role includes pre-op patient preparation, intraoperative case circulation, PACU patient recovery, patient assessments, care documentation, transfer coordination, patient education, and assisting with processing instruments/equipment in central sterilizing.

Shift & Scheduling:
The schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional late days to complete the surgical caseload for that day.
Rotational surgical call is shared with other circulating staff and includes weekdays, weekends, and Holidays, averaging 1 to 2 days a week.
Weekend call is every other weekend or every 3rd weekend, depending on the number of circulators.
