Required Skills/Experience: ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) system experience is a MUST. ECMO Specialist Training and experience greater than 6 months up to 1 year
Responsibilities include management and monitoring of the ECMO machine as well as circuit management and medical and mechanical emergencies. This role will care for open-heart surgery patients as assigned and manage other extracorporeal and critical care devices, such as continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), Impella, and balloon pumps. Works closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and ensure the best outcomes for critically ill patients.
