Special Requests:
An interview may not be available prior to offer.
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
Unit Details:
Uses Fetal Link for surveillance.
Uses a Phillips system for fetal heart monitoring.
Telemetry is not used on the unit.
Ventilators are not used on the unit.
No IV team is available.
A laborist/OB physician is in house 24/7.
Respiratory therapy and pharmacy are available 24/7.
The unit handles low- and high-risk deliveries; babies with known congenital defects requiring immediate surgery are transferred out.
Circulating is not required.
Shift & Scheduling:
Three weekend shifts are required in a 4-week schedule, on Friday/Saturday nights.
Work within the permanent staff holiday rotation.
Floating Requirements:
First to float.
When floating to Pediatrics, would take the same patients as on postpartum (couplets).
May float to NICU only for feeders and growers if experienced with them previously.
