Required Skills/Experience:
15 months of Cath Lab, critical care and/or PACU experience in a hospital or medical center setting is required.
Pre- and post-op/recovery experience is required.
Groin and radial site management is required.
TR band management experience is required.
First-time travelers are welcomed with at least 36 months of experience.
Special Requests:
Any former UPH employee, whether an FTE or PRN member of the UPH float pool, cannot work a travel assignment in another market if they currently work at, or have worked at, any UPH facility within the past 12 months. This separation policy does not apply to those who previously worked travel at UPH.
Unit Details:
Patient types include pre-/post-procedure heart cath, cardiac cath, and possibly EP patients.
Shift & Scheduling:
Monday-Friday; shifts may begin as early as 0600 but may start later based on cases.
Unless the unit is closed, contractors are required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming winter holidays.
No weekends.
No call.
Floating Requirements:
Primary care is Cardiac Holding, with possible floating across Vascular Holding and Diagnostic Cardiology.
