Travel Allied (Surgical Tech) - Operating Room

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Required Skills/Experience:

• 2 years experience - Level 1 or 2 trauma experience required.
• Travel experience (at least 1-2 assignments): cannot be first travel assignment.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Neonate & pediatric experience is preferred.

Unit Details:

• OR runs 24/7/365.
• Weekend cases are mostly urgent, with some scheduled cases.
• Service lines include ortho including total joints, OTT; adults and peds; general surgery cases; robotics; organ transplants (kidney); ENT; oral/maxillofacial; vascular/thoracic; urology; pediatrics.
• Uses Epic.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Team self-schedules for schedule and call.
• Dayshift 2x8's (0700-1530) 2x12's (0700-1930), days vary, no set schedules, rotate to nights PRN.
• 2-3 weekends/6 week schedule.
• 5-6 (4-hour) call shifts/6 week schedule (2-3 weekday, 2-3 weekend) average 24 hours max.
• Holiday and night rotation as needed by unit.
• 1 major, 1 minor holiday based on time of contract.

Floating Requirements:

• Float only to IFMC ORs and Woodburn, as needed based on low census.
