Travel Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Required Skills/Experience:

• Must have strong experience in General Surgery, Neuro, Ortho (must be primarily 3s & 4s)
• Must have the following Neuro experience: ALIF, Anterior Cervical Fusion, Cervical Fusions, Craniotomy, Insertion of VP Shunt, Kyphoplasty, Laminectomy/Discectomy, Lumbar Fusion, XLIF (hard stop requirements)
• Must have Craniotomy experience (hard stop requirement)
• Must have Da Vinci Xi Surgical System experience (hard stop requirement)
• Night shift RNs will need experience in all service lines as they will be required to do any and all cases that come to the OR. Must be very strong in Ortho, all neuro (spine and head), General, Trauma with the ability to do or be able to do cases independently in the other services such as Uro, Gyn, GYN-Onc, ENT, robotics, etc.
• Required case experience includes abdominoplasty, ALIF (Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion), anterior cervical fusion, appendectomy, arteriovenous fistula repair, breast augmentation, carotid endarterectomy, cervical fusions, cholecystectomy, colon resection, craniotomy, eye trauma, femoral popliteal bypass graft, free flap - microvascular, General OR, hernia repair inguinal/umbilical, insertion of VP shunt, kyphoplasty, laminectomy/discectomy, laparoscopic assisted procedures, lumbar fusion, mastectomy with TRAM flap reconstruction, Trauma, and XLIF (Extreme Lateral Interbody Fusion)
• They would need to be strong enough to step in as a Charge as needed and being the only nurse in house with call for back up.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Scrub General Surgery
• Community Hospital Experience

Shift & Scheduling:

• Straight nights, with limited call. May have one weekend of call per month depending on shifts scheduled.
• Weekend requirement: 1 per month.

Special Requests:

• You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
