Travel Nurse (RN) - Psychiatric Unit

Unit Details:

• Secure inpatient adult behavioral health setting.
• Adult behavioral health patients with a variety of mental health challenges; average length of stay is 5 to 7 days.
• Adult Psychiatric Services treats adults with chronic mental illness who may be in crisis and need stabilization and treatment.
• Behavioral Medicine Services treats adults for depression, anxiety, grief, and other psychological issues affecting coping.
• Multidisciplinary care includes groups focused on grief and loss, depression, anxiety, coping with mental illness, substance/alcohol abuse recovery, medications and side effects, stress management, and art, music, and pet therapy.
• Discharge planning is coordinated with the multidisciplinary team to support community transition and follow-up care.
