Travel Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Must be proficient in main OR surgeries.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Previous Charge Experience: Preferred. -Teaching Hospital Experience: Preferred
• Community Hospital Experience: Preferred

Unit Details:

• Second floor main surgery OR.
• Service lines include urology, pediatric urology, pediatric general surgery, bariatric surgery, plastics, ENT, DaVinci robotic surgery, and some GYN.
• Infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Call required: 1-2 shifts per week, including nights and weekends.
• 2 weekend calls per 6-week schedule; dates subject to change.
• Call shifts are usually 4-hour blocks; overnight call is 8 hours. Some 10-hour staff may take a 2-hour block until 1900.
• Average about 50-54 call hours per 6-week schedule.

Floating Requirements:

• Required to float to sister location TMC Rincon.
