Additional Details:
Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.
If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.
Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: cumulative experience applies for previous travelers.
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Required Skills/Experience: C-section experience required RN's don't usually circulate C-Sections; however, if the OR team isn't there yet, the staff nurse would need to be able to do this; therefore the ability to circulate C-Sections is required for this unit
Shift & Scheduling:
• Weekend Requirement: At least 2 weekends/month. They consider Sat/Sun Weekend Days
• Call Requirement: Potential to be placed on call due to low -census (or high census). This could happen rarely or could happen weekly
• Holidays: Work into the perm staff holiday rotation
Floating Requirements: If they have this experience & are comfortable, they could float to MedSurg or ER as helping hands; however, they would keep them 'clean' incase they have a delivery come in
