Travel Nurse (RN) - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience:

• 2+ years level III experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• At least 1 travel assignment completed preferred.
• Desired skillset: extremely low birth weight, deliveries.

Preferred Credentials:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Unit Details:

• Newly transitioned Level II to Level III NICU; traveler may be the resource for a less experienced NICU RN.
• Private rooms and family-integrated care.
• Postpartum patient cared for in the NICU; OB RN cares for the postpartum patient.
• Average ratio 2:1 (from 1:1 to 3:1).
• Looking for experienced coverage to support the team in the event of a critical or extremely premature newborn.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Variable 12-hour PM/NOC shifts: 3p to 3a or 7p to 7a based on the needs of the unit; must be flexible.
• Every third weekend.
• Holiday rotation.
• On-call may be picked up as desired.

Floating Requirements:

• Float to Peds, as needed.
