Travel Nurse (RN) - Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit

Required Skills/Experience:

• Minimum 2-3 years of staff RN experience in a dedicated CVPICU/Pediatric CICU open-heart setting.
• Previous travel experience is required, but candidates without travel experience will be considered if they have 2-4 years' experience and Epic experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• VAD (ventricular assist device) experience preferred.

Preferred Credentials:

• BSN preferred. Will consider ASN with 3 years, provided the candidate has extensive experience in pediatric cardiac critical care.

Special Requests:

• RTO blackout dates: 11/25-11/27, 12/23-12/26, 12/30-1/2.
• No RTO will be approved during the first two weeks of the assignment.

Unit Details:

• The unit provides pediatric cardiac intensive care for open-heart patients.

Shift & Scheduling:

• 12H rotating days/nights: 6:45 PM-7:15 AM (rotating shifts per unit needs); straight nights for 6:45 PM-7:15 AM will also be considered.
• Total RTO is limited to 4 days or less.
• Must be available to work 2 of the 3 holidays.
• Weekend requirement: up to 75% of scheduled shifts.
• No call.

Floating Requirements:

• Float within Children's Hospital Colorado Anschutz Campus as needed.
• The client may float or reassign personnel to other areas of practice within their clinical competency to fulfill scheduled hours.
