Required Skills/Experience:
24 months minimum experience in pre/post-op, PACU, or cardiac/cardiology setting required.
First-time travelers accepted with at least 3 years of experience.
TEE experience required.
Cardioversion experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Stress testing experience preferred.
Special Requests:
Any past UPH employee, whether FTE or PRN for the UPH float pool, cannot work travel in another market regardless of which facility they currently work at or have worked at within the past 12 months. If they worked travel at UPH (not as an FTE or PRN), the separation policy does not apply.
Unit Details:
The unit handles noninvasive cardiology procedures, including TEE, cardioversions, stress testing, and pre-/post-procedure care.
Shift & Scheduling:
Shifts start at 7/7:30 a.m. and end around 1630/1700.
No call.
No weekend shifts.
Must work 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day, unless the unit is closed.
Must work 1-2 of 3 upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed.
Floating Requirements:
May float to Cardiac & Vascular Holding.
