Unit Details:
Neonatal, adolescent, and adult patient population.
The unit includes 8 LDR beds, 5 triage beds, 5 antepartum/postpartum swing rooms, 3 ORs, and a 12-bed NICU.
Patients include diabetes, hypertension, advanced maternal age, obesity, multiple gestations, anxiety, depression, thyroid conditions, urinary tract infections, pyelonephritis, substance use disorder, cardiac conditions, migraines, and preeclampsia.
Uses the Periwatch fetal monitoring system.
Shift & Scheduling:
You must work weekends and generally just be very flexible.
Every other weekend.
Floating Requirements:
You must be willing to float.
