Travel Nurse (LVN / LPN) - Ambulatory Clinic (LPN)

Required Credentials:

• Graduate from an approved school of nursing with a certificate as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Cannot have any disciplinary action on state license.

Special Requests:

• Must be able to start within 2 weeks of the expected start date.

Unit Details:

• Correctional setting caring for inmates/residents.
• Responsibilities include execution of physician orders, pill call, sick call, assisting the physician with examinations and treatments, medication administration and documentation, inventory control of medications and supplies, emergency procedures, and observation/documentation of inmate/resident behavior.
• Maintain security of medical supplies and equipment, inspect for contraband, and escort inmates/residents for medical treatment.
• Work may occur in confined areas and an antagonistic environment.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Primary shift could be days or nights depending on facility needs.
• Must have open availability per the CoreCivic scheduling policy.

Details:

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
