Required Credentials:
- Contingent/temp licensure is not accepted.
- MGB Medication Exam required with 80% passing score.
Unit Details:
- Core IV therapy competencies include peripheral IV insertion, CVAD dressing changes, non-tunneled CVAD removal, reconstitution, instillation and removal of thrombolytic, access/de-access implanted ports, PICC repositioning, ultrasound-guided IV lines, and PICC line insertion.
- Patient population includes all ages: neonatal, infant, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
Shift & Scheduling:
- All day shift positions are rotating.
