Travel Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery Unit

Required Skills/Experience:
Minimum experience: 2 years; must be comfortable with/had some exposure to postpartum.
Strong L&D experience: must be able to do cervical exams, antepartum and labors, amnio infusions, epidurals, fetal monitoring, IVs, Pitocin; must be able to circulate C-sections; baby catching/receiving required; APGAR; breastfeeding knowledge.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Comfort with all aspects of postpartum care from transition to discharge for mom and baby strongly preferred.
Scrub experience is a bonus.
Russian/Spanish multilingual ability preferred.

Required Credentials:
If you have a multistate license, you will be required to complete a 1-time 6-hour suicide prevention training according to WA state regulations.

Special Requests:
Any RTO or special requests not included on your application will not be considered.
You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit & shift at the same facility). Example: if you apply for day shift, you can also apply for night shift on the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for another day shift position on the same unit & facility.

Unit Details:
There is always a scrub tech on site; scrub-trained RNs are occasionally used for sick calls.
NP on call.
Serves a Russian/Spanish patient population.

Shift & Scheduling:
Flexible contract hours: 48 per week.
No call.
