Travel Nurse (RN) - Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit

Required Skills/Experience:

• Minimum 2-3 years of Staff RN experience in a dedicated CVPICU/Pediatric CICU Open Heart setting.
• ADN accepted with 6+ years of relevant experience.

Required Credentials:

• PALS Heartcode required.
• ACLS Heartcode required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• VAD (Ventricular Assist Device) experience preferred.
• Teaching hospital experience strongly preferred.

Preferred Credentials:

• Pediatric CCRN strongly preferred.

Special Requests:

• No RTO will be approved during the first two weeks of the assignment.
• RTO blackout dates: 11/25-11/27, 12/23-12/26, 12/30-1/2.

Shift & Scheduling:

• 12-hour rotating days/nights (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM / 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) based on unit needs.
• Weekend requirement: up to 75% of scheduled shifts.
• On-call requirement: none.
• Total RTO limited to 4 days or less.
• Must be available to work 2 of the 3 holidays.

Floating Requirements:

• Floating within Children's Hospital Colorado Anschutz Campus as needed.
• May be floated or reassigned to other practice areas within clinical competency, including up to 35 miles from the originally assigned facility.
