Required Skills/Experience:
Skilled to circulate in cardiac, vascular, and thoracic and foregut surgery.
Float experience does not count toward the unit experience requirement.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Scrub experience is preferred but not required.
Unit Details:
The assignment includes circulating in the operating room.
Patient population includes cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgery patients.
Cardiac cases include coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), valve repair and replacement, minimally invasive and robotic valve procedures, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), and left ventricular assist device (LVAD) placement.
Vascular cases include open and endovascular abdominal aneurysm repair, peripheral vascular procedures, carotid stenting, angioplasty procedures, and amputations.
Thoracic cases include open thoracotomy, video-assisted thoracoscopy (VATS), esophageal and hernia repairs, bronchoscopy, esophagoscopy, and robotic procedures.
Shift & Scheduling:
Schedule is Monday-Friday with 8-hour shifts, plus call for nights, weekends, and holidays.
