Required Skills/Experience:
Experience on a fast-paced medical-surgical unit is required.
Required experience includes chest tubes; drips such as diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone; lines, tubes, and drains for postsurgical patients; tracheostomies/laryngectomies; complex wounds; and central-line care, maintenance, and blood draws.
Recent experience at a level 1 trauma center is required.
Must have telemetry experience.

You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit & shift at the same facility). Example: if you applied for day shift, you can apply for night shift on the same unit & facility, but you cannot apply for day shift at the same unit & facility.
Unit Details:
The adult unit cares primarily for trauma patients and acute-care surgical patients.
Common cases include spinal cord injuries (including new quadriplegia and paraplegia), traumatic brain injuries, orthopedic trauma, hernia repair, small-bowel obstructions, appendectomy, and cholecystectomy.
Negative-pressure rooms can serve patients with COVID-19.
RN patient ratios are 1:4 on days and 1:5 on nights.
Shift & Scheduling:
No call.
