Required Skills/Experience:
1-2+ years of experience.
Unit Details:
Geriatric and adult patient population; typically only 3-4 pediatric patients per year.
Unit secretary/monitor tech stationed at the Med/Surg nurses station.
Equipment includes Welch Allyn vital machines, Masimo at bedside in every room, CareView, telemetry, Sara Stedy, and ARJO lift.
Shift & Scheduling:
Rotate every other weekend unless there is a need and staff may be scheduled more than every other weekend.
Depending on census, staff may be placed on call.
Floating Requirements:
Float to medical detox, ICU, OB, or ER; task assignments only in OB and ER. Will take low-level Med/Surg overflow patients in ICU with a 1:3 ratio.
