Travel Nurse (RN) - Acute Care Float Pool

In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on Driver's license.

Required Credentials:
Driver's license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.
Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.
Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; minimum passing score of at least 80%, 2 attempts allowed.
Ascension Specialty Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, 2 attempts allowed.
Ascension Pharmacology Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% score, 2 attempts allowed.

Special Requests:
Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles.
Candidates must have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.

Unit Details:
Float Cardiac Telemetry - Acute Care Float Pool.
Cardiac telemetry units care for cardiac patients including post-op patients and serve all ages.
Supported by PCTs, a healthcare unit coordinator, a unit secretary, virtual sitter monitoring, and monitor techs.

Shift & Scheduling:
Up to 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule period.
Holidays as needed by the department.

Floating Requirements:
Required to float to cardiac telemetry and med-surg departments.
