Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Experience with IABP, Impella, CRRT, and day 2/day 3 post-op CABGs.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Pediatric experience highly preferred.
Special Requests: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Unit Details: Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2 (lower acuity). Common patient population includes open hearts, CHF, COPD, OD, sepsis, CVAs with TPA, DKA, and some neuro patients; TeleStroke program. Adults and patients under the age of 8 will be admitted to the ICU. Pediatric patients over the age of 8 will be in PCU or Med Surg unless they require ICU-level care or need to be transferred out.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend, typically 2 weekends (Saturday and Sunday) per month, but could be more depending on unit needs. Up to 2 extra mandatory shifts per 6 weeks. Holidays: 1 major and 1 minor.
Floating Requirements: Float to PCU and Med Surg as needed depending on census; travelers are first to float.
