Required Skills/Experience: Home Exercise Programs, Lifting and Transfer, Patient Family Education, AROM/AAROM/PROM, Assistive Devices, Body Mechanics, Pain Assessment, Skin Integrity, Strength Testing, Vital Signs, Discharge, Evaluation, Plan of Care, Reassessments, Short Term Goals, and Gait Training.
Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission. Block schedule may be accommodated per manager discretion. All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Unit Details: Provides physical therapy for patients in the ER, ICU, medical-surgical, and orthopedic settings. Includes geriatric patients and cases such as COPD, CHF, CABG, MI, hip fractures/injuries, knee injuries/tendinopathy, total hip replacement, total knee replacement, and post-stroke rehabilitation. Uses call lights, crutches, gait belts, hospital beds, standard walkers, and supplemental O2. Parking Cost: Free parking
Shift & Scheduling: Tuesday-Saturday.
