Unit Details:
Common diagnoses and cases include neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory conditions (including COPD), DKA, sepsis, MI, cardiovascular stepdown, and postoperative cases.
Specialty equipment includes temporary pacemakers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, and Neptune Vapo.
Patients may require chronic ventilators when unable to wean; respiratory therapy assists.
Patient population includes adults age 18 and older.
Shift & Scheduling:
Flexible contract hours: 48 per week.
No call.
