Additional Details:
RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe. No medical marijuana cards accepted. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: Scrub experience for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular and circulate required. Years of experience REQ: 2 years required; Will consider 1 year if Level 1 trauma Facility. First-time travelers accepted only if more than 2 years experience in a Level 1 Trauma Facility.
Special Requests: Local candidates are not accepted; home address must be at least 75 miles from facility.
Unit Details: Adult cardiovascular OR patient population. Cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases primarily, including open and endovascular vascular procedures, liver, kidney, and pancreas transplants, and Whipple procedures. High-acuity environment with urgent and emergent cases. All staff are responsible for entering missing instruments into the CensiTrac system.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend required. M-F. Start times: rotating shift times as needed. On-call as needed: 3-4 weekday/weeknight and 1-2 weekend call shifts per 6 week schedule required, but can be more or less depending on unit needs. Official turnaround time is 40 minutes from call to clock-in. Max time for emergency cases is 60 min from case request to into the OR time, so being in the room and setting up within 40 minutes is best. Holidays as needed, discussed in advance. RTO: No more than 7 days.
Floating Requirements: Will float within service line.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
