  • 2 years of previous PCU/ Stepdown experience required.
  • Required Skills: CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Post TPA care, Seizure disorders, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury, Substance Withdrawal, Feeding tube care and management, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Cardiac Telemetry, Neuro Stepdown, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Telemetry, Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI), Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, TURP, Pacemakers (Temporary/Permanent), Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, TR Band, Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips (no titration), Thrombolytic Agents, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry (On-unit monitoring), Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Isolation Precautions/PPE, IV insulin protocols, Titration of Insulin drips, Surgical drains, Accessing/Managing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Teaching and Community Hospital Experience.
  • Preferred Skills: Phlebotomy, Aneurysms and repair, Intracranial bleeds, Pre/Post neurosurgery, Bariatric surgery, Tracheostomy care/management, ER Holding, Renal transplant, Heart Transplant, TAVR, Manage Vasoactive drips (no titration), PCA, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Telemetry (remote monitoring), Wound Care/Wound Vac.

Special Requests: Travel Pairs will not be accepted on the same shift or unit.

Shift & Scheduling: You must be willing to accept 84 hours per two weeks scheduling (one-week 3x12, next week 4x12). Every other weekend required.

Other Requirements: You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Details:
