Travel Nurse (RN) - Step Down Unit

Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.

Special Requests:
If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.
Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: cumulative experience applies for previous travelers.
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Previous permanent candidates must be gone for 2 years.
Previous travelers who worked at this facility for 1 full year must be gone for 2 years.

Unit Details:
The patient population is medical-surgical stepdown.
Patient ratios are 1:3 for Stepdown and 1:5-6 for Floor.
RNs are required to titrate drips.
Respiratory therapy is in-house 24/7, and the unit has ventilators.
Telemetry is available; monitor technicians post strips each shift, and RNs must be proficient and able to read and interpret strips.

Shift & Scheduling:
Weekend and holiday work is scheduled as required; the frequency is unknown.
Call or standby requirement is unknown.
