Additional Details:
Required Skills / Experience: 1 year of Behavioral Health nursing
De-escalation experience, experience with physical restraints (chemical restraints are not used), medication passes, comfortability to run groups, documentation
Preferred Skills / Experience: Pediatric BH experience
Required Credentials: MOAB - MOAB will be reviewed again when on site. Travelers should speak up if they need more practice with de-escalations. Scenario-based training every other week for practice if needed. MOAB Educator/Trainer on site.
Unit / Facility Details: Housing in ME becomes more expensive in the summer months, beginning in May. Be sure to confirm you are comfortable with housing options before applying.
Patient Ratio: Day – 1/5-6; Night – 1/13 with resource support (including Nursing support)

Special Requests: Roles requiring state licensure only: License should not expire within 45 days following start date
You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit & shift at the same facility). Example: if you apply for day shift, you can also apply for night shift on the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for another day shift position on the same unit & facility."
Traveler may have the opportunity to act as Charge, but this is not required.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Rotation: Every other; Sat/Sun
Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed

Holiday Expectations: Expected to work holidays in rotation
Modified self-scheduling – travelers will sign up for preferred shifts, manager/scheduler will review to ensure all shifts are covered and adjust accordingly.
Floating Requirement: Must be willing to float between adults and peds as needed
