Previous Employment Requirements: Travelers must be separated for 1 year if previously a perm staff
Required Skills/Experience: General PCU skillset: titrating cardiac drips, insulin drips and vasopressors to include – Esmolol, Cardene, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Milrinone, Labetolol, Levophed, Nipride, Nitro; chest tubes, traches, central line management, management of drains/tubes, wound care, etc. Will Accept a First-time traveler? First time travelers must have 2 years of perm staff (acute care) RN experience
Preferred Skills/Experience: Management and pulling venous sheaths, TR Bands, managing Temporary pacemakers
Required Credentials: Traveler will be required to PASS an EKG competency exam as part of compliance, prior to arrival
Unit/Facility Details: Patient Types: Medical Stepdown: Include but are not limited to - Respiratory failure, CVA, DKA, Sepsis, s/p surgery, s/p cardiac cath with intervention, frequent monitoring and/or intervention, ETOH with CIWA, IVDA, AMS, Cardiac Overflow
Special Requests: Can we approve time off? up to 7 days – must extend contract for any full week of RTO
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend rotation: every other weekend Will work 4 days one week and 3 days the next week – this is mandatory No call
Floating Requirements: Possibly to 2 North or 2 East (Medical Stepdown) or Medsurg
