Travel Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Transitional Care Unit

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience:

• 1 year strong cardiac experience (Cardiac SDU/Intermediate Cardiac/Cardiac ICU).
• Experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro drips is required.
• At least one completed travel assignment required.
• 1 year recent Epic charting experience required.

Required Credentials:

• Associate degree or certificate.
• Must be able to pass the EKG test in the 1st week of hire.

Unit Details:

• Fast paced, high patient turnover.
• Post-op CABG/valve, thoracotomy, vascular, arrhythmia, CHF, post-procedure cath, pacer, defib, ablations, acute CP/MI, and med/surg overflow including detox, DKA, COPD exacerbation, respiratory failure, and fem-pop bypass.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend. Every other holiday.
• No call.
• Orientation week hours may vary. Weekly hours may be reduced during holidays when the unit is closed.

Floating Requirements:

• Float to all inpatient units as needed.
