References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years
Required Skills/Experience:
Acute care/Med Surg experience required.
If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations.
Required Credentials:
Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
Special Requests:
RTO must be listed at time of submission.
All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Any previous permanent employee of a Providence-affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months to qualify for a travel position.
Unit Details:
Adult and geriatric patient population.
Case manager responsibilities include care coordination and discharge planning.
Shift & Scheduling:
Primarily Monday-Friday, but must be willing to cover some weekends.
Expectation is to work 1 of 3 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's).
Floating Requirements:
Very unlikely to float to other Swedish hospitals.
