Required Skills/Experience: Minimum of 2 years of ICU or ER experience. Mid-line and PICC placement experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Infusion experience preferred.
Preferred Credentials: PICC certification preferred.
Special Requests: Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and a working vehicle required.
Unit Details: Assesses vascular access needs and determines the appropriate device type, placement location, and line-placement safety. Performs ultrasound-guided placement of peripheral lines, midline catheters, and PICCs in the clinic setting. Assists with troubleshooting vascular access issues and provides guidance on device management. Provides, coordinates, teaches, and/or supervises care for patients in the home setting.
Shift & Scheduling: Monday through Friday daytime schedule. Weekend on-call rotation. Saturday and Sunday on-call coverage for the Suburban campus only. Holidays as needed for on-call. Call back response time: 30 mins.
Floating Requirements: Rotate between Bayview and Suburban campuses.
