References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Prior Med/Surg, PEDS, and ED experience is a plus.

Special Requests:
Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
Must take full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location as well.
If the clinician previously worked with Sanford, they must have an end date 6 months prior to their submission date.

Unit Details:
Provides individualized nursing care to critically ill medical/surgical patients from age 16 through geriatric.
Interprets and responds to hemodynamic monitoring results.
Responds to patient complications and crises.
May supervise students assigned to the CCU as part of their training.
The clinician will not work alone when a patient is present in the CCU.
Uses PLUM IV smart pumps, central lines, arterial lines, ventilators, IABP, and an overhead patient lift system.
Critical care patients have 1:1 or 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratios; medical/surgical overflow patients have a 1:4 ratio.

Shift & Scheduling:
Schedule may be 3 or 4 12-hour shifts per week.
Flexible contract hours: 48 per week may be accommodated if requested.
Every other weekend (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) is required, and every other holiday.
Rotating day/night shifts.
No call.
12-hour shifts run 0700-1930 or 1900-0730.

Floating Requirements:
May float to Med/Surg and PEDS if CCU census is low.
