Required Skills/Experience:
Proficiency in cardiac required.
Comfort with EKG required.
Special Requests:
Ability to start ASAP! This assignment allows expedited credentialing or pending credentials so you can start in under 3 weeks. Once your initial RTO requested is accepted, no further negotiations of terms will occur before your start date. Being ready and willing to quickly be credentialed by our team is a must.
Full-time employees of McLaren are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.
Unit Details:
Patient population includes general and vascular surgery, bariatric surgery, plastic surgery, trauma, and stroke patients.
The unit cares for over 4,000 cardiology patients annually.
Procedures include PTCA, stents, TAVR, MitraClip, and biventricular pacemakers.
Approximately 300 open-heart surgery patients 18-24 hours post-op are discharged from the unit.
The unit specializes in congestive heart failure and electrophysiology studies.
Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend.
On-call may be required.
Floating Requirements:
Must be willing to float to similar units.
