Required Skills/Experience:

  • Vents, BiPAP, basic RT treatments, EKGs, and intubation assist.

Special Requests:

  • Must take full 6 months off from any Sanford Health or Good Samaritan Society location as well.
  • Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
  • Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
  • Previous Marshfield employment requires an end date at least 6 months before submission.
  • Okay with duos if timing aligns.

Unit Details:

  • Mainly adults, with minimal pediatrics and neonates (ER or newborn); travelers may be asked to cover high-risk deliveries at very low frequency.
  • Covers inpatient, ER, ICU, med-surg floors, and facility emergencies in the clinic.
  • Basic therapies, ABGs, EKGs, BiPAP/CPAP, ventilators, intubation weaning, extubation, and charge verification.
  • Assists with intubation and may insert King airways in emergency situations prior to provider arrival.
  • Equipment: vents—PB980, PB840, SurvoU, LTV1200, Hamilton; BiPAP/CPAP—V60, Home ResMed; high flow—Optiflow.
  • Hospitalist coverage 24/7, intensivist in house for the majority of the day, eICU support overnight.

Shift & Scheduling:

  • Every 3rd weekend, depending on call-ins and staffing.
  • 2/3 winter holidays required; every other holiday coverage otherwise.
  • Rare variable shifts may occur; traveler will be worked with prior to any switch.
