Unit Details: Patient ratios: in the lab 1:1, in holding 2:1, and in pre/post 4:1. Uses GE imaging equipment, Volcano, Rotoblator, Angiojet, IABP, Impella, Penumbra, Inari, and Merge hemodynamic system. Typical procedures include heart caths and interventions, peripheral caths and interventions, TAVR, Mitra Clip, Watchman, pacemaker and ICD implants, EP studies and ablations, PFO and ASD closures, and carotid stents. Performs all structural heart procedures with an advanced cardiac program; residents and cardiac fellows start this summer. Parking: Everyone must park by the old red schoolhouse building or in the parking lot behind the Medical office building across the street. (AM & PM Shifts)
Shift & Scheduling: On-call required. Every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
