Additional Information
Required Skills/Experience: PET experience required. Knowledge of computers that are interfaced with the gamma cameras required. Knowledge of radioactive materials, doses, and flood sources required. Experience with patient monitoring and other ancillary patient and radiation safety equipment required. Ability to work with radioactive material in a safe manner required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Knowledge of nuclear medicine gamma cameras, stationary and portable, from varying manufacturers preferred.
Required Credentials: Graduation from an accredited nuclear medicine program is required.
Special Requests: Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you are applying to.
Unit Details: Work includes both in-department and mobile coverage. Performs diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures under supervision and participates in teaching and research support. PET/CT work is for attenuation correction, not diagnostic imaging. Serves patients across all age groups.
Shift & Scheduling: Mon-Fri. Variable start times depending on preference and staffing. No call.
