Any hit on your license must be disclosed. Hits will be sent to UVA leadership for approval prior to proceeding.
Special Requests:
Travelers are not eligible to return after reaching 365 total assignment days, regardless of time away.
Up to 40 hours of time off can be approved.
Unit Details:
This 6 North intermediate-level unit uses critical care and neuroscience principles; common patients transfer from the Neuro ICU.
Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients with neurosurgery needs, neuro trauma, ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke (including subarachnoid, intraventricular, and intracerebral hemorrhage), neuro-endovascular intervention, head and neck tumor resection with flap reconstruction, spinal surgery, spinal cord injury, and neurological and neuromuscular disorders.
Shift & Scheduling:
Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
Every other weekend.
Every other holiday.
Must work 2 out of the 3 winter holidays.
