Travel Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years of OR experience with various specialties required.

Required Credentials: Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.

Unit Details: Scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures and department admissions to the operative suite. Adheres to standards and appropriate aseptic techniques. Consults and coordinates with team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate intraoperative patient care plans. Serves as a communication liaison to patients, families, and members of the operating team. Prepares the operating room for the patient and surgical procedure. Assembles equipment and supplies, ensures equipment is functional, and confirms supplies and implants are available.

Shift & Scheduling: Call requirements currently are 5 shifts on a M-F (5pm-6:30 am) in a 6-week period. 3 weekend day shifts (Saturday or Sunday - a 24hr shift) in a 6 week period.
