In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on driver's license.
Required Credentials: Driver's license is required for RNs/LPNs/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/TDAP declinations. Ascension Pharmacology Exam required prior to start; minimum 80% score with only 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Core Competencies required; minimum 80% or the national benchmark passing score with only 2 attempts allowed. Ascension EKG Exam required; minimum 80% score with only 2 attempts allowed. CPI must be an 8-hour course.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous experience in a high-volume Emergency Department preferred.
Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.
Unit Details: Provides triage and emergency care for patients of all age groups presenting with emergent and non-emergent conditions, including critically ill and injured patients. Assists with trauma resuscitations and cardiac emergencies in a fast-paced, high-acuity Emergency Department.
Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week for 12-hour schedules.
