Special Requests: Cannot apply to any Ohio State University facilities if you have an active application to any James Cancer Hospital & Research facilities.
Unit Details: Progressive Care Unit caring for abdominal transplant and hepatology patients, including kidney, liver, and pancreas transplants, rule-out rejection, infections, AKI, uncontrolled diabetes, and GI bleed patients. Procedures and cases include kidney biopsy recovery and paracentesis. Uses telemetry, bladder scanner, and Dopplers. Responsibilities include IV starts and telemetry monitoring.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekdays with occasional weekends and rotating holidays. Every other weekend coverage.
Floating Requirements: Must float within units of equivalent or lower acuity. May be required to float to different units within the OSU organization as needed.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
