Travel Nurse (RN) - Step Down Unit

In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on driver’s license. Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.

Required Credentials: Driver License is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension Pharmacology 1 or 2 exam required during onboarding prior to start; minimum 80% score with only 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Medical Surgical exam required during onboarding prior to start; minimum 80% score with only 2 attempts allowed. Ascension EKG exam required during onboarding prior to start; minimum 80% score with only 2 attempts allowed.

Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.

Unit Details: Dedicated Stroke Unit caring for medical, DKA, cardiac, GI, renal, sepsis, trauma, and surgical patients.

Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
